Our First CPS!!

Well here it is! Our designs from the very first Card Positioning System.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we enjoyed thinking outside the box and playing with this sketch. Hopefully these will give you some ideas that you have been searching for. Remember when you look at a sketched design it is simply a rough draft for creativity. You can make changes to fit your design style. Nothing is set in concrete, it should be a springboard for the design.

Here are just a few ideas for this week's sketch:

• The sketch can be rotated or flipped


• The top left box can be left the same, changed to another shape, raised/lowered or simply be used to mark the location if an element such as a greeting.


• For the horizontal strip you can use paper, ribbon, stitching, a bow, or an additional area for journaling.


• The three vertical strips could be used patterned papers, additional words, tags, flower stems, packages, or other wide designed embellishment.
