In case you didn't find the clues. The winner of the scrappin trends prize was Jen Fass and here card is HERE. Jen please email me withyour address and I will forward it to the owner of Scrappin Trends so she can send out your prize.

Also while I am getting addresses....I need the address for Daniela because her Thanks Card won her a huge variety of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Congrats ladies!

ohhh...there it is!!

Looks like I have found my list!! just a wee bit longer while I wait for my helpers. I can tell you this....

To find out who the next winner is you will have to check out some of the CPS designers. I have some designers who will be leaving clues to both the prize and the winner. Those clues should be available some time between now and 3:30 CST. (4:30 eastern). So, all you have to do is find them and put them together to find out who won the next card contest prize and what they won. ;)

While you are waiting.....

While I am cleaning and searching for that trusty prize list here is a way to find out yet another winner today (that means there could be at least *two* announced today!).

I just added more names to the blogs that link here list..that put us up to 48. I love seeing every one's creative cards and other work and those links are a great way to find them. I *know* there are lots more and would love to see the list if you're not on the list post a link to your blog here. Once I have 20 more to add to the reader's blogs list I'll post another winner. Pretty simple, huh? ( A lot simpler that cleaning up this mess I have, I can guarantee that)

Tuesday, June 19, 2007

oooh...I have PRIZES

Well, I am sure you have all be (im)patiently wating to find out who the contest winners are...and we have LOTS of them. Well....I know who the grand prize winners are now so I can start giving out prizes!! First for the grand prize, have to wait for those (I take bribes in stamps and chocolate, btw). Lets see.... how about one of the Karen Foster Design prize packs ?? Let's see (checking my handy prize list)...*one* of the winners for the Karen Foster prize is.....................

Rebecca Cross with her Trick or Treat card.

Congrats Rebecca!! If you will email me (link on the right) I will get that prize out to you.

Now there are still LOTS (did I say lots??) of prizes left and you just never know when one might be announced so be sure and check back very soon. I will also be updating either this evening or tomorrow morning with more CPS #18 designs....hmm....and maybe even another prize ;)

CPS #18 and the latest news

Well if you are a regular CPS reader and just joining us today you might have noticed out new blog "makeover". Being the typical female I just suddenly felt the need for an updated new look. We all have so much fun here I thought the look should be just as fun :-)

That being said, I am also excited to tell you of another change to the fun times here at CPS. We have a new designer!! As of today Lisa Strahl is has joined us. I am sure many of the stampers out there will recognize her awesomely talented work. Lisa, aka Mona Lisa, is a recent alumni of the Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen. I have to say their loss it totally a gain for us here as CPS. Welcome Lisa!

I also want to let everyone know that we are waiting on Scrapbook and Cards Today to let us know their picks for the card contest. As soon as we hear from them we will start the fun of announcing the winners and sending out those amazing prizes. Hopefully the wait will not be much longer as I am sure many of you are on pins and needles by now. :)

Now, for the moment you have been waiting for. Our weekly CPS!!

Using shape tool and black ink, create black circle.
Add drop shadow. Place text on circle. Add white divider line, add drop shadow.

Using shape tool, draw blue rectangle. Using Circle Things font, add "bullseye" type shape using black ink. Add drop shadow to rectangle. Using Circle Things font and blue ink, and large font size, create a blue "bullseye" shape. Slide blue shape behind black circle.

Draw black bordering lines. Print card, positioning card on paper so that there will be ample room for folding.

Well, that's that latest here at CPS. Be watching later this week for more designs as well as a color challenge that was delayed from last week and some new quotes.

We love seeing the wonderful talent of all the CPS readers. So, be sure and share your designs with us. To do that is as simple as posting a link to your design in the comments section. Kim will be updating some time this week with a reader update list so every one can easily ooh and aah over the amazing designs from our readers. I'm also still adding links to our "blogs that link here" list so don't forget to leave a comment in the comments section for that as well if you would like your blog added.

Happy Card Making!!
