What is "hybrid" you may ask? Hybrid is as simple as combining all of your stampy, scrappy, paperish toys with you computer. That might mean printing out a greeting, adding some clip art using downloadable scrapbook papers and elements or even doing the whole card in Photoshop and printing it out. I will be going more in depth on the concept throughout the week.
For today, we will be introducing you to this weeks sketch and a few designs from the CPS designers. If you check out the supply lists you will find out where they got their great digital elements (and lots of them were FREE!). Also, the designer's notes will give more detail about how they incorporated the digital elements into their work. So here is the sketch and a few card ideas to get your started.
Check back tomorrow and throughout the week for a more in depth explanation of the whole "hybrid" phenomenon. If you have any questions or a favorite digi site you would like to share be sure and leave it in the comments section and I will try to get it covered in the week's posts.

tips: Even if you cannot afford to buy a digital program right now you can still use digital items in your cardmaking. It can be as simple as downloaded a kit to your computer, opening the file and printing the items out on your computer. Then, you can cut out embellishments, journaling spots, etc. or simply print patterned paper you've downloaded and use it like you would normally.

What a fab challenge, I use loads of digital kits and print all my Backing papers and some of my images. Please mention DAISIE Company, they have the most amazing kits and printables available and I must admit I have most of them.
