Innovative Stamp Creations CPS prize and reader special!!

Today is Friday right!? With the onset of summer and a 3 day weekend I can barely remember the day this week. ACK! I would like to appologize to Betsy at Innovative Stamp Creations. She is such a super sweet lady and awesome sponsor and I totally messed up. This has been one crazy busy week in my home and I missed posting the prize info and reader special. So....two days late here is the info she sent me a MONTH ago...(hanging my head in shame)....

Innovative Stamp Creations  is delighted to sponsor CPS this week!
The chosen winner, will receive 2 FREE ISC Stamp Sheets of your choice!
We also want to offer a 10% off any ISC order -use coupon code: cps524

We can't wait to see your version of this week's sketch. To share your design you can click on this week's sketch image in the side bar. This will take you directly to the post where you can add your link. Please use a direct link to your card so the readers can easily find it.

CPS Guest Designer Call!

How would you like to be a guest designer here at CPS?! As you might guess the CPS designers are always busy working on crafty projects and with summer coming that means even less time creating. So, in order to give the designers a bit of time off we will be having two guest designers for a three month period of July, August and September. So, if you think you would like to join us keep reading!

The details:
  • All sketches are sent in advance and designers receive all 3 months sketches at one time.
  • Designers will receive free product from scheduled sponsors during the 3 month term.
  • Product from sponsors is typically received a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.
  • Designers will create a minimum of one card each week using the assigned sketch.
  • Designers will be required to use product from the weekly sponsor on their projects during sponsored weeks.
  • Designers may use product of their choice during non sponsored weeks (once per month).
  • Cards must be well photographed and sent along with a detailed supply list no later than 8am CST the Friday before they go on the site.
  • Designers may also post their cards on their blog/gallery and link back to the CPS site.
  • Cards created for the CPS blog may also be submitted for publication and will be removed if accepted.

To apply:
Send images of two clearly photographed cards you have created using past CPS sketches. Please keep all images under 150K each. Include your name and sketch # in the file names.

Include a complete single spaced supply list in your email for each card using the following format:

Card Title
Designer (your name here)

Supplies:
(List supplies here)

Include your contact info, supply list as outlined above, and a link to your blog or gallery along with card images in one email with the subject “CPS Guest-Your Name” and send to CPSContests@gmail.com no later than 8am CST Friday June 5.

Chosen designers will be announced on Monday June 8.

Due to sponsor products being sent to the designers we are accepting applications US Residents only at this time. Please post any questions in the comments section of this post and I will update here with answers.

Reader Q and A:

Q. What if I don't have a blog? Am I not eligible to try out?
A. That is just fine. You do not have to have a blog to apply.

Q. I am going to be on vacation for 3 weeks... out of the country so I know I wouldn't be able to use the products from the sponsors for at least 2 projects... Could I still apply and 'make it up' somehow if I happen to be picked?

A. Normally the product is to the designers at least two weeks in advance (some times sooner) so you typically have time to work in advance.

Q. Please please can overseas girls apply?? Pretty please?

A. As you may know, all but one CPS sketch per month is sponsored. All sponsorships are scheduled far in advance. (We currently only have 4 spots left open in 2009). All products are sent directly from the companies and since we have already made arrangements with them for sponsoring our current designers with US addresses and will have a short shipping time frame during this call we can't make those changes this time around. I will speak with sponsors scheduled for the next quarter about international submissions in hopes that all readers may apply in the future. That said, we do love our international readers! International entries are eligible to for the weekly random prize drawings since they do not need to be recieved within a specific time frame and other shipping  arrangements can be made if necessary.
