CPS 5th Anniversary Day 2 with Linda Beeson and Gina K Designs

Welcome to day 2 of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration.

Thanks for joining us on day 2.
I'm Linda Beeson and I have had the privilege of being part of the Card Positioning Systems team since it's very beginning.  I can remember when Tami asked me if I wanted to take part and even though I really didn't know exactly what she was planning, I am always up for a challenge.  I am so glad I said yes because this has been such a fun adventure.  I have found the value of using sketches for creating.  Too many times I just don't know where to start and a sketch gives me just the right lanching pad.  Plus, in being part of the team, it is always fun to see how each team member translates the sketch.  Since I started rubber stamping something like over 20 years ago, I have been a fan of making cards for a very long time.  Be sure to stop by my blog, PaperCutting Kind of Day, you can see what I am usually up too and you can also go back and see my many CPS sketch cards.

For today’s sketch I chose CPS # 166.  When I went to decide on a sketch to use, I found it even hard to pick since there were so many I would have loved to have used with this stamp set.

My Card

Materials:
Cardstock
Stamp set courtesy of Gina K stamps
Patterned paper - Little Yellow Bicycle
Spellbinder Nestabilities die
Copic markers
Chalkboard Glimmer Mist - Tatterned Angels
Circle cuttter - Kreaxions
Black stamp pad - ColorBox/Clearsnap
Liquid Pearls - Ranger

Here is a link to the set that I used - Stately Flowers 1.  I love the variety of flowers that are in this set.

This sketch is one of the two being sponsored by Gina K Designs.
Gina K Designs can also be found on Facebook and The Gina K Designs Blog.

To be entered for a chance to win the anniversary prize from  Gina K Designs.  simply post a direct link to your newly created card using this sketch in the Mr Linky section at the end of this post.  (Cards not created specifically for the anniversary celebration will be disqualified).  Each sponsor will be sponsoring two days of sketches so that’s at least two chances to win!
Now, of course you won’t want to stop with just this one sketch!  Sketches will be posted on the CPS blog from Sunday January 29 thru Sunday February 12 for a total of 15 sketches. All readers who complete all 15 sketches featured throughout our Anniversary celebration will also be entered into the grand prize drawing! This prize pack includes a prize from all of our CPS Anniversary sponsors (listed below)

Deadline for entry in both the individual and grand prize drawings is midnight Saturday February 18. Winners will be verified and be announced on Friday February 24, 2012 on both the blog and CPS Fan page on Facebook.

Thanks for visiting, Linda Beeson, Design Team member

I went back and looked at my CPS166 card, and it doesn't look like this one ... maybe the wrong sketch number? http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/2010/05/cps-166-part-1.html
