CPS 5th Anniversary Day 5 with Laura Williams and My Favorite Things

Welcome to Day 4 of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration.

Hi there! Today's my day to hang out with you, my crafty friends, and I'm so glad you stopped by! My name is Laura Williams and I have been camped out here on the CPS team since 2008. (I've told Tami that I'm never leaving, and so far it's worked!)  In addition to the CPS blog, I am also on design teams for The {Stamps} of Life, and Discount Cardstock, and my work is published in Paper Crafts, CARDS, and CardMaker magazines.  My card-making loves are: polka dots, bright bold colors, crisp graphic patterns, and white space. You can find more of my crafty projects (and random thoughts) on my blog, Lauralooloo.

This is one of my favorite cards, that I created last year for the CPS blog.
Sketch #217, sponsored by Paper Smooches Stamps

For today’s sketch I chose CPS # 38

You're The Sweetest

Supplies:
stamps/dies - My Favorite Things Die-namics Bon Appetit and Stamp Set
cardstock - Discount Cardstock (Kraft)
patterned paper - October Afternoon Modern Homemaker
ink - Clearsnap
twine - The Twinery

This sketch is one of the two being sponsored by  My Favorite Things.
Be sure to stop by the MFT website and blog for beautiful products and inspiration!

To be entered for a chance to win the anniversary prize from  My Favorite Things  simply post a direct link to your newly created card using this sketch in the Mr Linky section at the end of this post.  (Cards not created specifically for the anniversary celebration will be disqualified).  Each sponsor will be sponsoring two days of sketches so that’s at least two chances to win!

Now, of course you won’t want to stop with just this one sketch!  Sketches will be posted on the CPS blog from Sunday January 29 thru Sunday February 12 for a total of 15 sketches. All readers who complete all 15 sketches featured throughout our Anniversary celebration will also be entered into the grand prize drawing! This prize pack includes a prize from all of our CPS Anniversary sponsors (listed below)

Deadline for entry in both the individual and grand prize drawings is midnight Saturday February 18. Winners will be verified and be announced on Friday February 24, 2012 on both the blog and CPS Fan page on Facebook.

So fun today - I decided to only use scraps to clean out my "collection"! I ended up making two cards: one baby boy card & one baby girl card.

BTW, love, love, love the October Afternoon Modern Homemaker stack. I use it all the time and your card looked great!

Thanks for another fun layout! I finally dug into my stash of old sheet music to upcycle some of it onto a card. I love how it turned out!

I put all my cards on seperate posts but they are not letting me choose which one it matches. Oh Oh!
This is not good.

I love this sketch for Day 5 - I've used it a lot and there are so many ways to dress it up or keep it simple.
