CPS Farewell - Lisa Silver

Hello.  It's certainly with a great deal of saddness that I write a closing post for CPS today.  I was so excited to get the call from Tami at the end of 2009 that I was selected to be a part of the CPS Team.  CPS was there for me at the right time... filling my life with creativity, fabulous women and friends... I'll forever be grateful.

Thank you to Tami for your time, effort and work for CPS.  Thank you to the sponsors.  And thank you to the wonderful ladies that have become my friends.

For my swan song, I've picked CPS Sketch # 170... a favorite of mine, to use today.

So, while I'll be saying good-bye to CPS, perhaps we should all just agree to say, "Until we meet again."  Or "Call me, maybe?"

You can find me at SilverStamping.  Be sure to drop me a note of 'Ello any time!

CPS Farewells - Linda Beeson

Can I say I never wanted to see this day come?  I have had the priviledge of being part of the Card Postioning Systems sketch blog from the very first sketch.  I think along the way that maybe I only missed one sketch.
What I learned before long along this journey is how much I love the inspiration that comes by using a sketch as a launching off place to create a card or layout.  Being part of Tammy's team at CPS has been so much fun. I have loved watching the card making community play along with us each week.  I have loved getting to know the other gals on the team.
I know that I will refer back to the great collection of sketches that are in the archive when I need a little boost along the way. Thanks to all who have checked us out and thanks to Tammy for inviting me to play.
It was hard to pick a sketch to use, but I ended up with sketch #16 to use these great Paper Loft papers on.

CPS Farewell - Jen Buck

Being part of the CPS team has truly been such an incredible honor for me.  CPS was THE first team that I ever applied for.  I was in love the moment I found Tami's 'little' blog and wanted so much to be part of it.  I feel so incredibly blessed to have been part of the team for such a long time.

I have always been a fan of sketches.  I {heart} having a place to go for those moments when it seems that my 'mojo' has abandoned me.  ;)  Tami has always helped with her AMAZING sketches.  With so many sketches to choose from I wasn't sure which one I would pick for my last project.  I chose sketch number 239.  Take a peek....

One of the things that I LOVE about Tami is that she looks at a sketch as a 'starting point'.  I've loved that if things bring me a little 'off course'....as long as the sketch is still visible I'm staying true to the challenge.  What a wonderful way to get my creative juices flowing.  I pulled out some of my favorite Paper Loft papers for this one and a bit of Flower Soft.....

I am so very thankful for my time here and so grateful that Tami had the thought to create this wonderful blog to begin with.  There have been so many projects that she has inspired.  What a beautiful addition to the creative world.

Thank you, Tami!  Thank you for all of your hard work and for sharing yourself with us!  We love you Girly!  :)

CPS Farewell - Laura Williams

WAHHHHHH! Don't make me say goodbye! PLEASE!
Joining the CPS designers has been one of the highlights of my papercrafting journey!
I'm not sure I'll know what to do without it . . . .but although change is difficult, it is good, so I'm here to embrace it and look forward to new opportunities!
Sharing great sketches, along with beautiful sponsored product, and hopefully some inspiration along the way has been my great privilege!
I am so thankful for Tami and her countless hours of work to make this blog possible.
And I'm so thankful for YOU! Because just as I hoped to inspire you every week, you have often inspired ME too! Big smooches to YOU!
Come on over and visit my blog . . . I'll never stop making pretty things with paper!
xoxo

CPS Farewell - Keri Lee Sereika

"All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another."
~ Anatole France

It's really quite sad to be posting for the very last time here to the CPS blog....yet there's a sense of anticipation that also shrouds the edges of each of our farewells. Having been a part of CPS since nearly the beginning has been a blessing. I have been blessed to serve on a team of like minded people and fabulous artists! We each have lent our own spin to each and every sketch with the purpose to inspire and encourage you to do the same! Thank you for taking your time each week to play along with us and to give us a glimpse into who you are in your creative element!!!

This week's card from me is CPS #9. I loved this sketch back in the day and so I thought why not pull it from the archives five years later! Enjoy!

CPS Farewell - Jennie Harper

It is bittersweet to see the end of CPS...  Bitter in the sense of the end of something we have greatly enjoyed and sweet in the sense of knowing how much we all have grown as card designers through participating in CPS.  The CPS DT is the sweetest group of ladies and I have been privileged to be part of the team since May 2011. Tami has done an outstanding job with CPS and thrilled to see what the future holds for her in the paper crafting industry.
We have often said to each other that this is a great gig...and it truly has been!  From the friends made to the fabulous sponsors that provide product for us to use...CPS has been a blessing to paper crafters!
Here is my final CPS card using sketch #40:

CPS Farewell - Jeanne Streiff

Hi everyone!

Someone said that all good things must come to an end. CPS has been a very good thing. :)

I joined the CPS Team late in 2008. It's been such a great ride. Lots of giggles, fun sponsors and of course the great sketches to play with. I want to thank Tami for allowing me to join in the fun.

I decided to go back and use the sketch from my first official post on the team. CPS

Farewell!--Deb Felts

Hi everyone!

I was SO honored to be invited by Tami to join the CPS design team back in February of 2011.  I have so much respect for her as a designer, illustrator and friend.  Her sketches are a great starting place for me, especially since I'm layout-challenged!

The girls on this team are amazing in every way...they are talented beyond compare and I'm always hoping that some of their creativity will rub off on me!  Each one has their own unique style, and the variety of the team as a whole has always been a huge part of its appeal.  It has been so fun to see the different ideas that all come from the same starting place.

All that being said, the best part has been the stuff that happens behind the scenes.  These are some of the funniest, silliest, sweetest, kindest girls I've had to privilege to work with. They personify friendship at its finest.  I am so glad that many of us are on other teams together, so we don't really have to say good-bye.  It is hard enough just to see this season come to a close.  I'm sure you feel that way too, so let's not be strangers, ok?!  I would love for you to continue to visit my blog!

I thought it was fitting to re-visit the sketch (#205) from the week I made my debut, during our 4th anniversary celebration!  This one is relatively CAS...and for once, I didn't even use any of my Copics!

Happy Halloween!

It's truly the end of an era for all of us at CPS to be saying goodbye this month.  I've been here for a little more than two years now, making many new wonderful friends and have loved every minute of it.
I'm sure going to miss the inspiration from a new cardmaking sketch from Tami each week.
