Hi I'm Jeanne! Welcome to the CPS 5^th Anniversary Celebration! I've enjoyed being a part of CPS since December 2008. Tami's sketches are da bomb!

Thanks for joining us on day 2.

I'm Linda Beeson and I have had the privilege of being part of the Card Positioning Systems team since it's very beginning. I can remember when Tami asked me if I wanted to take part and even though I really didn't know exactly what she was planning, I am always up for a challenge. I am so glad I said yes because this has been such a fun adventure. I have found the value of using sketches for creating. Too many times I just don't know where to start and a sketch gives me just the right lanching pad. Plus, in being part of the team, it is always fun to see how each team member translates the sketch. Since I started rubber stamping something like over 20 years ago, I have been a fan of making cards for a very long time. For today’s sketch I chose CPS # 166. When I went to decide on a sketch to use, I found it even hard to pick since there were so many I would have loved to have used with this stamp set.

Welcome to Day 1 of the CPS 5^th Anniversary Celebration.

Hello CPS friends!! Tami here. I am so happy you stopped by for the beginning of our five year anniversary.

Some of you have been with us since CPS started way back in February of 2007, including some of the designers you will meet over the next 15 days! Others are new to the site. Upon celebrating our one year anniversary I explained exactly where the title CPS came from. If you're curious to know you can find out all the details in this post.

Throughout the next 15 days you will be introduced to each member of the current CPS design team. Today, I will introduce myself since I've asked everyone else to do it and I can't easily get out of it ;).

CPS has been a big part of what I do over the past 5 years and contributed to meeting some of the greatest designers, companies and of course, card makers around. In addition to creating sketches for CPS and scheduling sponsors and such I am and writer and designer for CardMaker magazine/DRG publishers, CardMaker blog team member, Designer/Illustrator for Gina K Designs, Design Team Lead / Social Media for Scor-pal, Designer for The Stamps of Life, ARTisan and Product Education Specialist for Shinhan Art Materials and Momenta D-Lite team member.

For today’s sketch I chose CPS #136

When I picked this sketch I hadn't looked back at the past posts using it. Ironically, when I went back to find the original sketch I found that it was sponsored by Gina K Designs! The same brand of stamps I used for my 5th anniversary card! Not only that, it was the sketch that contained cards with the very first stamp set I created for GKD!
